STSA-BC G2G Meeting Highlights
This year’s STSA-BC G2G meeting took place on a beautiful September day in the X̱á:ytem Longhouse Interpretive Centre. STSA Political Representative Chief Angie Bailey, as well as CSF Co-Chairs Dr. Dave Schaepe and WLRS Strategic Director Josh Malt, hosted this historic event while Premier David Eby made his opening remarks via Zoom. Ministers Randene Neill (WLRS), Spencer Chandra Herbert (MIRR), Mike Farnworth (MOTT), and Ravi Parmar (MoF) were able to join us in person, along with a substantial amount of representatives from STSA member First Nations, for a day of dialogue and a deeper understanding of the issues that impact us all in S’ólh Téméxw.
In the afternoon, guests and delegates were provided a special tour about the history of the X̱á:ytem transformer site.
